We want to remember the passing of our friend, advisor and mentor, Jay Fewel. We first met Jay when we were in the early stages of developing the concept which became Vista Ridge Capital. At that time, Jay was already a giant in the private equity community, and the opportunity to get his thoughts and advice on our new venture was a wonderful gift.

Over the years, Jay was a constant source of advice, introductions, subtle suggestions (“Are you sure you about that?”) and when we were really lucky, tasty food, which, of course, he had not only prepared but personally caught or trapped or hunted.

Jay, we’ll miss you. I’m sure it’s always hunting or fishing season where you are, with no limits.
